  • Meanwood Market runs from 10.30am to 2.30pm on the third Saturday of every month, except during January.

    It is held in the centre of Meanwood at the Green Road Shopping Precinct, Meanwood, LS6 4JP

    Here are our 2025 Dates:


  • Pitch fees for 2025 are £40 per market. The pitch fee will provide you with a space in a shared gazebo with one other vendor, a space under the sheltered area at the precinct or one of our gazebo pitches.

    If you wish you hire a table, this will be an additional £2.50 per Market.

    Pitch fees must be paid in advance to secure your pitch. Cancellations made within 48 hours of market day will not be refunded


  • Depending on wether you have borrowed a table or gazebo from us, you will have a pitch space for a 6ft table and gazebo.

    Alongside your pitch site, you will have extensive marketing and online presence via our social media pages and local outlets.

    You will have a day trading at Meanwood’s busiest markets, in prime central location.

    You will have a dedicated feature via our brand new website trader directory that will prompt people to follow your social media page and shop with you online.

  • Stallholders are required to have the following:

    • Public and Product Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of £5m

    • A risk assessment - a blank template can be provided if you don't have one

    • If you make and/or sell food you must be registered as a food business with the local authority, have a Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate and Food Hygiene Rating (or be waiting for your assessment)

    • If you sell alcohol you will need to ensure you have the relevant license in place

    • High-Quality Images of your products and stall set up for effective marketing

    • Your space is not booked or confirmed until full payment.

    • Any cancellations without 48hour prior warning will not receive refunds. It is not our responsibility if you can’t commit.

    • Do I have to have Liability Insurance to Trade? Yes. It is by law to have when trading, if you’re yet to obtain any it’s simple and often cost effective via Simply Business or Direct Line.

    • Do I have to have a card reader or can I take cash? This is something thats wholly up to you. Most often or not customer will want to pay by card, however there is a card machine available on site. You are wholly responsible for taking all payments.
